Check out this stunning 100-year-old home Renovation we completed in Greenslopes with the team at Naild It Constructions!
When we initially sat down with this client to take their Brief, it was obvious that they were looking for answers. They had a beautiful 100-year-old home, that was in major need of some attention. The house was laid out in sections, the kitchen at the back of the house, tucked away down a rabbit-warren hallway, hiding from the hub of the home, making entertaining challenging and weeknights cooking for the family, a secluded practice.
It was our goal to achieve the maximum return on investment, lifestyle, and aesthetic, within a mid-end budget. When reviewing the floor plan, the obvious solution was to rip out all the walls between the living and existing Kitchen, to increase the blueprint we were working with and achieve an open living space filled with natural light.
The Master Ensuite & Powder were created to add value to the home's first level. Featuring black penny round mosaics on the floors, and white walls for a clean look, and a nod to the heritage era of the home with playful tiling, also seen in the Kitchen. Polytec's "Tasmanian Oak" melamine on the vanities, adds warmth & texture to the monochrome palette of these spaces. Black tapware by ABI Interiors finishes off the design perfectly, contrasting against the crisp white modern walls.
